, operated by Astronomy Tours S.COOP (CIF: F22605646), based in Cartagena, Murcia, Spain.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Refund Policy
1. Product Type

We sell certified ISO 12312-2:2015 solar eclipse glasses, designed for safe direct observation of the Sun and solar eclipses.
Each pair is quality-checked before shipping to ensure compliance with international safety standards.

2. Returns and Refunds

Due to the safety-sensitive nature of eclipse glasses, we cannot accept returns once the product packaging has been opened or tampered with. This is necessary to guarantee that all eyewear remains sterile, undamaged, and safe for use.

However, we do offer refunds in the following situations:

  • The product arrives damaged or defective.

  • The wrong item was shipped.

  • The order was cancelled before dispatch (within 24 hours of purchase).

within 7 days of delivery, including your order number and a photo of the issue (if applicable).

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Opened or used eclipse glasses (for safety reasons).

  • Customer change of mind after shipment.

  • Delays caused by postal or customs services beyond our control.

  • Incorrect shipping address provided by the customer.

Returns & Refunds for Solar Eclipse Glasses
For safety and hygiene reasons, solar eclipse glasses and other optical safety products cannot be returned or refunded once shipped, even if unopened, as we cannot guarantee their optical integrity after leaving controlled storage.

This exception is permitted under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(e) on health and hygiene products.

4. Damaged or Lost Packages

If your order arrives damaged, please email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the product and packaging.
If your package does not arrive within the estimated delivery window, contact us — we will open an investigation with the courier.
Confirmed lost or damaged items will be replaced or refunded in full.

5. Refund Method

 

Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 5–10 business days after confirmation.
Please note that bank or card provider processing times may vary.
